I marveled at the things I was seeing
When I came to a crowd in the center of the market clearing
The air so thick and full of noises
But one speech rose above the other voices
This voice was melodious, gentle, and sweet
All of a sudden I knew this was the man I had come to meet
Soon the crowed parted and went away
Only I stood stock still, I was planning to stay
Waited patiently until he finished speaking
Then came towards his gentle beckoning
“You are not from here
Ya Ummati.
But perhaps I can help you with your need”
I managed an answer “Yes, please”
He smiled his gentle smile
And lifted me onto his knee
What is it that you want Ya Waladi?”
I looked at his face, glowing with serenity
To always be in your company
Ya Nabi.
